Privacy Policy for site visitors

This Privacy Policy describes the modalities for www.kreos-spa.com site management regarding handling of personal data collected from the users. This information on protection of privacy is issued according to Article 13 of Italian Law Decree dated June 30, 2003, number 196 – Codex in the matter of personal data protection, to those who interact with the website owned by Kreos S.r.l. This information refers only to Kreos S.r.l. therefore it does not apply to third parties websites/sections/pages/spaces that might have been visited by the user through links. We invite visitors to read carefully this information before submitting any personal information and/or filling any electronic form on the website.
If visitors are requested to submit their personal information to access to specific services, specific and detailed information will be issued in advance in the page concerning the above mentioned services. The information will be issued according Article 13 of Italian Law Decree dated June 30, 2003, number 196 including the limits, purposes and methods used for processing the data.

Types and objective of handled data

1) Navigation data
Computer systems and software for the functioning of this website acquire, during their normal exercise, some personal data transmitted with communication protocols of the Internet. This information by their very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users identification (this includes IP address, domain names of the computers used by users/visitors who connect to the site, etc.). 2.1) Data treatment for direct marketing purposes
With the express consent of the party concerned, Kreos S.r.l. might use the voluntarily provided data for direct marketing purposes, for studies, research, market statistics, advertising and informative material; for conducting all those activities designed for the sale or the placement of products or services; sending commercial information; making interactive commercial communications. Handling data for direct marketing purposes, specific and separated consent of the person involved must be obtained. The users is informed that provision of the data is optional and his/her refusal will not entail any consequence (but to prevent data processing for direct marketing purposes). For some communication forms by mean of e-mail, fax, automated calling systems and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) and SMS (Short Message Service) or any other kind, the need to obtain specific and distinct consent is a result of specific regulations in relation to unsolicited communications or distance selling (ie: art. 130 of the Privacy Code). Even under these last circumstances provision of the data is optional and your refusal will not entail any consequence (but to prevent data processing).

Kreos S.r.l. uses navigation data aggregated navigation tools, that allow to improve websites. One of this tools is Google Analytics. It uses cookies deposited on user’s computer in order to allow Web Site operator to analyze how users interact with the sites. The information generated by the cookies about how users use the websites (including masked IP address, that is lacking of some digits) will be sent and stored on Google servers. This information will be used for the purpose of evaluating users’ use of the Web Site, compiling reports on Web Sites activities for its operators and providing other website and internet related services. To protect the confidentiality of communications, Kreos S.r.l. uses the option ‘Masking IP’, that impose to hide the last 8 digit of the user IP address before any data processing, actually making the analyzed data anonymous.

Users rights

The individuals whom personal data refer to are always entitled to get the confirmation about presence or absence of such data, and know they content and origin, check their exactness or ask for their integration or updating, or correction (art. 7 of the Law Decree dated June 30, 2003, number 196). According to this article, user has the right to get the confirmation about presence or absence of personal information, even if not yet registered, and their intelligible communication. Moreover, the subject has the right to receive indication about: (a) source of personal data treated; (b) the treatment purposes and procedure; (c) the rules applied in case of the treatment of data through electronic devices; (d) the identification detail of the data controller, the responsible people and the appointed representatives, according to art. 5, paragraph 2; (e) the subject or subjects categories to whom personal data can be communicated or who can have access to this information due to their role of representative in the State territory, responsible or entrusted people.
The subject has the right to require: (a) the update, the rectification and, if it is the case, the integration of data; (b) the deletion, the change into anonymous format or the block of data if treated in violation of the law, including data for which it is not necessary the preservation for the purpose for which data itself was collected or successively treated; (c) the confirmation that the actions as above stated in point (a) and (b) have been notified also with respect to their content, to the people who the data has been transmitted to, except the case when this is impossible or entails the use of clearly disproportionate means to the right protected.
Lastly, the user has the right to fully or partly oppose to: (a) the treatment of data concerning him/her for legitimate reasons, even if relevant to the data collection purpose; (b) the treatment of personal data relating to him/her with the aim to send advertising material or make a direct sale or the aim to carry out market researches or make commercial announcements.
